Batch documents you should insist on
Ask every supplier, including us, for the following before you pay:
- Lot or batch number and expiry, printed on the carton and repeated on the invoice.
- Certificate of analysis (CoA) for the batch. We provide this on request.
- Import trail. In India, imported injectables need a registered importer. Many "imported glutathione" brands circulating in the market have no CDSCO import registration. Where a line is supplied only through a licensed importer, we say so on the listing as "enquiry only, subject to availability from a licensed importer" rather than pretending otherwise.
- GST invoice in your clinic's name, not a cash memo.
A supplier who cannot produce items 1 and 4 is a supplier you cannot defend in an audit.

If a quote is far below these bands, ask why. Genuine manufacturer stock has a floor; the only way to go meaningfully under it is to cut something out of the product or the paperwork.
Red flags for counterfeit glutathione
Counterfeits in this category are common enough that we train our own team on them. Watch for:

Ask for a photo of the lot number before paying and compare it with the carton on delivery. A genuine supplier will not mind.
